Learn how to prepare dishes from any Western cuisine. Most techniques used in western cuisine have their roots in French cooking. French chefs were actually the first to describe cooking techniques and identify subvariants. These are known as the 5 Mother Sauces. Many of today's sauces come from variations of these classics. Although the French were the first to introduce Western cuisine, they quickly began to incorporate influences from other European countries. For example, pasta, introduced by Italians, became an integral part of Werntern cuisine.

How to make the perfect omelet

Omelets are one of my favorite foods to eat at breakfast. But how do you make them perfectly? Many different recipes and methods have failed to work for me. I have some tips and tricks to help you make delicious, fluffy omelets every single morning.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. They must be fresh, preferably from the organic market, and be kept cold until cooking. If you don't keep them cold enough, the whites won't form properly, and the yolks will break down too much and become runny. This makes your omelets look weirdly colored. If you want to make omelets right away, it's best not to use eggs that are too cold.

Another tip is to separate each egg before adding them to the saucepan. You don't want any white to get mixed up with the yolk because this could cause the omelet to curdle.

If you add the egg directly onto the stovetop, you might end up burning the bottom part of the egg, which would ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, heat the egg for 10 seconds in the microwave before placing it in the pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Let's now talk about mixing eggs. Mixing eggs together is important. You need to beat them well. You can do this by turning the bowl of your mixer upside down. Then shake the bowl vigorously. By doing this, the egg is thoroughly mixed with the air in the bowl.

The fun part begins - you need to pour the milk into your mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. Don't worry if there are still streaks of egg visible; these streaks will disappear once you flip the omelet.

After you have done folding the eggs, heat the pan on medium heat. The oil will start to smoke. When the oil is hot enough, add 1/4 cup butter to the pan. Stir it around until the butter covers the entire pan. The lid should be carefully opened. Sprinkle salt in the pan. A pinch of salt will prevent your omelet from sticking in the pan.

Once the omelet has formed completely, cover the pan and let it set for a few minutes. Flip the omelet by using a spatula. Cook the other half for another minute. Take the omelet out of the pan and immediately serve.

This recipe is best made with whole milk. However, it can also be used with skimmed milk.
